It's a shame that this is the clip that is out there of this. They rarely perform this and Wes was the one who got them to do it. there WERE good performances of this song on that tour. I would like to see more clips of this song from other shows.

I think we have to remember that they go onstage with colds etc. not at there best. I give Simon a pass because I have actually seen him sing Vertigo (do the demolition) and Wild boys flawless live

I admire greatly Le Bon. He has been a class act through out his career. I think its OK to see this video even when he failed to hit the high notes. That shows you how good he was at the peak of his career. All the great ones have gone through the same thing. Just listen to Robert Plant these days.

I'd never seen this before and while it's unusual for Simon to fail hitting the high notes, I agree with the person below who said that he handled it professionally - who cares if it's not perfect, accidents can happen.He also seemed be slurring the words somewhat at the beginning - he was probably just having an overall off night, c'est la vie ;)
