Duke wrote new music for a National Theatre production of Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children play in London at the end of 2009. Mother Courage is "The Play" in Dukes new three album release "The Book, The Play and The Silver Screen" The Mother Courage theme runs through the play and has to build and signify the relentless progress of war.
