My mom used to play jazz all the time. This is music of her father's youth, when he was a young man in his late teens/early twenties. I never liked it. Like most kids in the 1990's and early 00's I was into pop and hip-hop. But now that I'm older I have gained an appreciation for it. It's great music. I have this on my IPod.

My professor always says, "The world isn't fair. If it were fair, Johnny Hodges would be alive and Kenny G. would be dead." That sax solo makes the song for me.
