Mt grandmother took me to see this film at The Ritz cinema in Neasden. There, I've given away my age and my humble background! Love the theme and DE's playing. Is it true he made some of his records in an iron water tank - true natural echo!?

I wouldn't say she was a one hit wonder as she appeared in quite a few television shows in the 50s and 60s. You can look her up on IMDb. She certainly was a beautiful actress and is still alive today.

Joyce Taylor played Bobbie in the film. And you're right - she was a babe!

I always liked the Cash hit. Duane's own song is as good.... I am looking for the movie..Janssen and Gorshin together...has to be well done!

@MegaGARFISH Duane did have a Les Paul - he traded it for his first Gretsch because he needed the Bigsby vibrato.

Gesang ist definitiv überbewertet!

That magic Gretsch twaaaaaaaaaaang!! How history would've been different had Duane bought a hard tail Gibson Les Paul....imagine how poorer music would've been had we been denied the magic combination of Duane Eddy and his Gretsch 6120....I hate to think about it! This track is smiles better than Johnny Cash's song, thanks for posting it.

Possibly the greatest song ever recorded. To really get a good version of this song, check out the movie, "Ring of Fire" with David Jansen. Duane wrote the theme song and the movie version has more distinct string section, which really adds to the sound.

邦題 野良猫のテーマ。学校祭のレコードコンサートで、「恋のゆりかご」(ジョニープレストン)と掛かってた。 LOL
