High Noon= Kahraman ŞerifFilm 1952 Abd yapımlı,Vestern-Drama öğeli ve 85 dakika..Gary Cooper'de Vestern filmlerinde beğendiğim oyunculardandır..Film siyah beyaz..1885 lerdeki Batıyı anlatıyor gibi zaman olarak..Şerifimizin kasabadaki son günüdür evlenmekte ve şerifliği birakmaktadır..Ancak yıllar öncesinden ceazaevine tıktığı azılı bir suçlu kovboy arkadaşları ile kasabaya dönüp Şerifle hesaplaşmak isteyince işler plandığı gibi gitmez..Kasabadan yeni evlendiği karısı ile gitmeli midir yoksa kalıp savaşmalı mıdır ?Politikacıların asılması gereken bir suçluyu korumaları neticesinde Halkta adalete olan saygının yitirilmesi ile Şerifi bu mücadelesinde tek başına bırakmaları-destek vermemeleri hatta onun kasabadan gitmesini istemeleri de filmin bir başka boyutu..Şerifin düştüğü durum ve çaresizlikler, halkın yardım taleplerine kayıtsız kalması durumuna karşı "Hayır şerif dediğin böyle olur " dedirtecesine nisbet olsun diye 1959 yapımlı Rio Bravo ( Kahramanlar Şehri) filmi, bu filmin antitezi olma düşüncesinden şekillenmiş gibi bir izlenim veriyor :)Filmde,oyunculuk-kostüm-dekor başarılıydı..Siyah beyaz film olmasına bakmayın vestern sevenlerin keyifle izleyecekleri filmlerden olmuş..İyi seyirler.10/7

Great version and haunting. "High Noon" is my favorite movie of all time followed by "Shane" and "Lonesome Dove".I don't believe there will ever be another actress as beautiful as Grace Kelly.

@azw596 You are very welcome! I love Connies version too but it is posted several times. I thought Duane Eddys version added that "Bonanza" kind of feeling to it. The movie is one of my all time favorite westerns, for sure. Thanks so much for watching! Jim

@sorrowfulflower Yes, she surely had a classic beauty and the acting talent to go with it and what can you say about Gary Cooper. Just a wonderful movie with a wonderful cast, I think. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Jim

@ClassicDamsel Oh, you must see it! It is just a classic western with a great cast! The theme song was actually sung by Tex Ritter (John Ritters father) in the movie. I just love the way Duane Eddy does it. Thanks so much for stoppin' by to watch and comment! Jim

Excellent video! I have yet to see High Noon (it's on my list!), but this song certainly makes me want to see it more.
