Please note. This track is from the "Dance with the Guitar Man" album by Duane Eddy. Recorded in Nashville, October 1962. This track features Jim Horn on sax and Floyd Cramer on piano. Jim Horn was one of Duane Eddy's Rebels, a member of his group for five years, and is now known as one of the greatest horn players on the planet. Duane has never worked with Boots Randolph. Would you please change the title on this video for proper credit?

Today's attempts to create unique sounds with electronic voodoo to make up for a lack of talent will soon fade and be forgoten. The distinct sound print left by these ARTISTS has endured half a century and counting. :{)

Definitely produced by Lee - that's what it said on the back cover- as an RCA recording in Nashville it was probably polite to mention Chet as the local boss man as well! If you reckon it's Jim Horn then I am happy to go with your opinion.

This album was produced by Lee Hazelwood. Not Chet Atkins. Seriously...this is Jim Horn on sax. Sounds nothing like Boots Randolph, actually.

This album was recorded in Nashville, at Studio B. Produced by Lee Hazlewood. Chet Atkins did come by and visit during one of the sessions, but he had nothing to do with the recording. Yes, Floyd Cramer is playing, and it is absolutely Jim Horn on sax.

From the album "Dance with the Guitar Man". The liner notes fail to mention the individual musicians but stress that the recording was made at the RCA's Nashville studio- with Chet Atkins keeping a watchful eye on things. So it is most likely it is Cramer and Randolph on this occasion.

The piano does sound like Floyd Cramer, what with the arpeggiated (rolling) chords, but the sax is almost certainly Jim Horn.

The sax is played by the great Jim Horn.
