Boy, that sounds a lot like King Curtis on the sax...could it be?

That sax sent me when I was 11 - and it still does, some 50 years later!

Thank you so much!! I was but a War Baby in Australia and American music along with the movies was my link to my rascally father's homeland. This is Duane at his best!! There is an Owen Bradley influence to this one.

I've been a fan of Duane Eddy's since I first heard him in the late 50's. Thanx for the post - this is an awesome number, on which I had never heard before.

All of the videos you upload have a great sound. Thanks for posting Duane Eddy, I love him. My wife keeps telling me to turn that thing down. LOL. Love that Twangy Sound.

What's to say? These sort of numbers by Duane are what I prefer - even though he's the consummate "rocker". I think it must have been about about '64 when I bought "The Twang's The Thang" - never looked back. Londonderry Air and Blueberry Hill are two of his best, I think. Talking of master guitarists - we mustn't forget Chet Atkins and Billy Strange. Thanks for posting such evocative stuff. Cheers, Les (London)
