Great explanation! When it comes to feel, it's a whole new world. Congrats! Feeling is the key.

I've watched this video over and over. Your interpretation is the best I've found outside of Jeff Pacaro actually doing it. Your instruction of it is perfect. Those tighter hi-hat notes is what makes it sound like Pacaro. That was the ONE thing I was missing in my interp and you helped me. Thanks.

Jeff Porcaro played on a plane so much higher than so many other drummers of his era. His feel and the soul he put into his grooves was simply amazing. I spent two weeks solid trying to put the same kind of feel into that groove and I still don't feel like I can really duplicate it perfectly,

The phenomenon Jeff Porcaro will never be understood 100 %, but this video is a great approach to his style with highly interesting explanations. Thanks for sharing.

This is one of the loosest shuffles I've seen. This guy has got this groove DOWN. There's nothing missing here expect the cessation of ego from opinion.

I dont think there's an interruption and here is the problem its hard to synchronize the snare and the kick. this rythem is a dileema for me lol but I'm progressing, I'l just keep insisting on it until I get it

I believe that Jeff plays grace notes between all the triplets. The transcription omits them from the first and thrid triplets
