It's not Drowning Pool without Dave. I'm not saying a band can't still be "that band" with a different singer. It's a case by case basis. I believe that even though the only album he was on was Sinner, he left a huge mark to the point where what he created with the other members can't simply be continued with a different singer. Not to take an opinion on the current line-up it is just a different animal.

I think the new singer is the best singer you could have had, for you, after dave, for me before. I still think the new singer is better than Dave, it is my personal opinion, but of course this guy is awesome and is my 2nd favourite singer.

Drowning Pool was far better with Dave. Now after his death, with that new singer, they made a horrible cd, and have since fallen off the face of the music world. RIP Dave and old Drowning Pool.
