i know plenty about this band, and i know the sort of middle class oi boi "working class" posers (their fan base) who jerk off to music like this. keep the hate coming.

eatinginfants

i know as much as the tools who think this music is good. keep the hate coming, fanboy

The Gangs all here is probably the best American oi! album ever, and I'm a huge Bruisers fan. They really need to let Al Barr sing more, he's practically been on backing vocals for their last two albums.

You're a fucking idiot. You know nothing about the actual history of the band.

It seems like the only one getting bent out of shape is you, replying to your own comment. First of all, you clearly know nothing about the music of this band, or any of us, but continue to pretend that you do. Second, we're providing logical defenses against your baseless claims--the only one pounding his chest is you. You can continue not making sense all you want, but until you come up with some evidence to back it up, you might as well be saying that the moon landing is fake.

is this really your life? going on youtube to call people names on the internet? it's good to see how working class you are because you have so much spare time on your hands, i'm glad you're not a poser like these guys, so either you're a bottom of the barrel scraping troll or you're a moron, pick one.

why you get all bent out of shape pounding your chests like good little fanboys i'm laughing at your reactions. keep the hate coming.

you sniveling butthurt fanboys are fucking funny. jumping to their defense like they're your best buds. you need to outgrow that naive bullshit

eatinginfants

what i said about you is true, twerp. don't even act like some great debater throwing out that bullshit. you're a sniveling fanboy

and logical fallacies (eg - ad hominem, strawman arguments) are the refuge of people who don't actually have a reasonable argument for their position, but at least you tried

Well id look up their story first before you think they just got famous, they really didnt start the band until their mid 20s, they all had working class jobs. And as for their "middle class kids" fans, ive worked in the blast furnace in US Steel for the past 4 years and ive already been laid off, I love these guys, their message, their music. Ken Casey is a poet and a badass and the rest of the band are great too. Best band out their today

First, you realize that the first two sentences of your original comment employ the very sarcasm that you call "the refuge for losers." I guess that makes you a "loser"? Second, they may be capitalizing on an image, but I believe there's value in spreading the message. Third, I think that guy's right, these bands didn't get big overnight. I'd be surprised to learn that they didn't have any labor jobs, and even more surprised to learn that you did any research before making your comments.

thanks for the naive life lesson, teenybopper, but sarcasm is the refuge of losers. are you so optimistic you don't think bands like this are capitalizing on that image? don't be such a twerpy fanboy

Someone who is working class like the person below sounds more like a crying teenager looking for attention. Dkm have busted thier asses the last 16 ,olus years and given back tons. Go look up ken caseys story. Alot of what the band wrote about is from real life. Boys on the docks being a prime example.

yeah, same goes for bruce springsteen right? and the sex pistols, ramones, the exploited, D.R.I, madball, minor threat, agnostic front and a whole shitload of other bands. man they didn't have any real effect because they were playing music instead of working depressing jobs, and i'm sure that NONE of those bands have any actual experience in working class and/or backgrounds, because as soon as they picked up an instrument, they were famous millionaires...

i bet these guys know just what it's like to have your union busted up and to live in poverty and wonder where your next meal is coming from. i bet they know just what it's like to clock in at a job that doesn't care a bit about you. right. send all the hate you want, dkm fanboys, i don't give two shits, but guys that spend their time playing instruments and singing behind a microphone for a bunch of angsty middle class kids who think they're "working class" make the real working class laugh.
