@2connoisseur thanks for your comment. i made this video because i absolutely loved this version by Bette Midler and I cannot find it on YT or anywhere in the net and wanted to share it. i make videos also as a way to relax from a hard day's work. sorry if you found it sophomoric, unattractive and obvious. perhaps you prefer those with just one photo for the entire time. i hope you can find a better video of this version out there.

A brilliant interpretation of this ballad or torch song. I listened to it hundreds of times in the 70s. Probably cried a bit to it more than once. This video is a travesty, however. So sophomoric, unattractive, and obvious. Sorry! I can appreciate the message at the end and even applaud it. But how about something a bit more subtle and sensitive.
