I got say with out a doubt best comments ever how many yrs of youtube. What love, but then DrF is indeed tight as a ducks arse. Beyond awe inspiring. I've nothing but my silly superlatives to praise this rock band. Wow just bowled over by em.

I've been trying to imitate Wilko but it's so damn hard...even with an amp you have to hit the strings really hard to get a sound.

I've been learning guitar for about 8 months now, can't imagine playing guitar that way, my hands would be all cut up.

they really pioneered the herky-jerky sound eventually popularized by the punks/new wavers. amazing that i first heard this song on an nj radio station!

Excellent band - and the real precursors for Punk and New Wave. The bass player - Sparko - look like a real 70's 'Essex Boy', too!

I had only heard the Nick Lowe version. I guess he picked it up from them.

the Dr Feelgood that is going now is a glorified tribute act...

The timing of this band is exceptional, they make it look easy but they must have done a load of rehearsing to get that good.

Ah.. so good. I'm now 56 and was a teenager when I saw Dr Feelgood at Cheltenham, Bristol and the Reading Festival '75. And now I'm seeing Wilko again next week, with Norm of The Blockheads. Pure deeelight, but missing the great Lee Brilleaux, RIP.

It's pretty obvious that the Raconteurs nicked this riff for "Steady as She Goes." Listening to this also makes me realize that bands like Franz Ferdinand and the Black Keys don't have an original idea in their collective heads.
