from the Barry Goudreau solo LP on Epic rcords, I think this album was done in response to record company contracual obligations Boston was dealing with at the time, hence,  with Barry's name on the title. As far as I'm concerned this is the lost Boston album :)

Brad's voice was so perfect. My favorite singer ever, alongside Freddie Mercury. What album is that song from?

the compositional genius of tom Scholz is very missed here. Scholz took the best of their band members not to mention the quality of the arrangements were Boston´s trademark. what a shame they got to legal problems and personal shit in just their 3rd album. the original Boston lineup could have climbed to the Beatles status for sure. Epic Band. the best band ever for my taste with their first two albums. I miss them.

I´m a huge Boston fan from Hungary currently living in mexico city. please I´d like to know more of what actually happened with the band before releasing "third stage" which was a downgrade to the previous 2 albums. It´s obvious boston without Scholz wouldn't be boston as he was the founder and 80% of the songs were his songs, but why did they got to that point of legal problems?? what a shame, the best rock band ever would have climbed to a beatles status for sure.

What was the illness Brad had that made him want to abruptly end his life like that?

Wow lol that comment is like 3 years old. Well I'm 18 now, Boston is still my favorite, and yes, I still like AC/DC, I've branched out a bit, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

You're seriously putting leppard and acdc on just about the same pedastal as Boston? Really?

Actually, I think this is the best sound for this song. I dont mean what we heard above, but analog and on vinyl is the way this song was meant to be heard. This song for a while was on myspacemusic. It has since disappeared. Excellent song. Straight up, simple guitar rock.

Tom did good stuff....real good stuff. That said, I'll take Barry over Tom any day of the week. And there's no one like Brad...the only other singer I can think of with that kind of vocal perfection was Freddie.

These guys should have just keep this band going, inspite of Boston, this band could have been just as big, I mean hey they have at least three original members.
