Actually yes the story behind their name is they had the band but didn't know what to call it...they had a dio album on a table somewhere and saw the song dream evil and decided that would be there name.14 years ago

To me, Dream Evil sounds like a mix of Scorpions, Dokken, and perhaps even White Lion (at least on this song). But I believe their intention is to sound a lot like the classic traditional metal bands of the '80s.15 years ago
