Azlyrics changed their lyrics but I agree timing our thunder sounds better that 'with time enough then to'

Coming from the hot and cold of it all, We level off the up and down as we go, There's an armour under every inch we grow As big and mean as the world That shakes and breaks what we do And we still plan to...

not me... I definitely hear "time-en-eth-un-der"

Pretty sure it's "We'll take over later"

Omg I have been trying to figure out that last line of the chorus for over a month. At first it sounded like "we'll take off unaided" but it actually kind of sounds like she says "Adolf" :s And I'm pretty sure that's not it. It also sounds kind of like "we'll take cover (something)" but I can't figure out what would be after that.

time on our thunder ?

Standing in the story we wrote ?

I would DEFINITELY say the line is "Timin' our thunder," except it sounds like tim-MUN our thunder instead of tim-MIN, so I'm still doubtful that that's right.

I used to... now I really think I hear "thunder" which makes sense because it talks about storms and tornados. But offend also fits in with the song's theme. And then the bridge is REALLY confusing. I have... Running from the hot and cold of it all, Level off the up and down as we go, There's an arm there (?) under every . . . and then I get lost.

I hear the word offend... I don't know ?

Blake Rodgers

Actually I'm pretty sure that's completely correct, except for the last line--the sounds to me are "with time-on-a-thun-to lay low." I've thought, "time on a thunder, lay low" or, "I'm on a 'thun'? to law low" but I just can't make sense of it...

I apologize for how that ended up looking. It was meant to have better spacing but youtube doesn't like me.

My version of the lyrics, I know they're horrible wrong. "You're coming up on the time of day, you tend to get a little bit restless. You bring it down 'cause you feel like rain and you spill it all over your sunset. Don't stop, you make my world go 'round, it's spinning on your thumb. And you drive us out so well, now... *Chorus* Standing in the storm we wrote And I'm all for the danger, don't try to contain it Twist me in your tornado We'll take cover later, I'm on a fender Lay low.
