Almost all the online lyric transcriptions are wrong."Somehow she got tangled up with Queen Julia Jackson Down on Melpomene and Erato Street Queen Julia Jackson dropped a Zozo la Brique And Jump Sturdy died with her soul in defeat""Zozo la Brique (Zozo the Brick) was a well-known character among the Creoles some years ago. She peddled the red brick dust so popularly used to scrub stoops and walks in certain sections of New Orleans." From "Gumbo Ya-Ya: A Collection of Louisiana Folk Tales" (1945), by Lyle Saxon, Edward Dreyer, and Robert Tallant.

People say she used to dance with the fish Some people say she juggled fire in a dish Clear day on the bayou of St. John She raised her hands and caused a 'lectrical stormShe was a treacherous lady She never met much harm One day she ducked past the station house She turned on the fire alarmSomehow she got tangled up with Queen Julia Jackson Down on Melba, meeting near rattle street Queen Julia Jackson dropped a Zozola brick And jump sturdy died with her soul in defeat

The question is not one of religious doctrine, but does he fit in with the political strategies of the counter-reformation? Who owns the recordin company? The production companies? Is he helpin to "destroy God" as the jesuits proclaimed to be their 4th protocol?

My people take control of Luzianne, and no more voodoo and no more pope, and no more you, jesuit. That he is an artist, well, yes. But whose? Not mine. It was a jesuit who sold him to me in the first place, tall bighead Chris of NYC. It was voodoo that invited the punishments in Haiti and N.O., and even worse ones that are less publicized in Africa. Bring on your own destructions, I can care about you or not, accordin to your stubbornness or submission, either.

I don't think Dr. John is teaching Catholicism. He's an artist, and he may not be 'teaching' anything at all. If he's 'teaching' anything, it's Voodoo, which is neither more nor less rational and realistic than your own silly doctrines founded on the childish superstitions, myths and legends of a particularly stuck-up tribe of Bronze age goat herders.

Dr. John is so much better than "Right Place, Wrong Time." Also, what's up with the religious fear mongering? That's obviously lame as shit.
