I saw them open up for the Eagles in 1976 in Hawaii and the guy with the eye patch walked out on stage with nothing on but a suck over his pecker and cowboy boots and they stopped the show until he came back on with jeans....Damn funny band and a great performance for all who were there...

went to see him at Woodbine Racetrack, Mar 30, it was great, he sang all the old music which brought back loads of memories. He can still kick butt, he must have been some hell raiser in his day. Keep well Dr Hook. people now are a little tights assed and don't know how to have fun.

@SammiSabbat George Cummings got a raw deal, that's for sure. This was his band. To identify him, he was the original bass voice on the second verse of this song, and the comic lead guitar. He also sang "I Got Stoned and I Missed It" (he also hold the distinction of naming the band, coming up with it off the top of his head when asked for the group's name). It was a GROUP, however, and they all had a part in making Dr. Hook what they were.
