(wilko johnson)Went out walking I recallMe and my best girl along the wallIn the long grass side by sideWhere the big ships go gliding by, go gliding bySkylark singing in the sunSomething told me she's the oneWhen I looked down into her eyesI saw pictures of paradise... of paradise... of paradiseEverynight you look so meanStaring at your tv screenBack when we where seventeenYou turned me around irene ireneWhen the days got colder time went byDark cloud rising into the skyI just sat there gazing onLike a tower of babylon... of babylonI went wandering far from homeLeft my good girl all on her ownI went back there she got the powerSee me through my darkest hour... my darkest hour... my darkest hourEverynight you look so meanStaring at your tv screenI got lost inside a dreamYou brought me back irene irenePeople talking but they don't knowWhere I've been to or where I'll goWorld keep turning all things changeI love two girls I ain't ashamed... I ain't ashamedAll your loving it thrills me soI can't go with you I just can't goA thousand highways you don't live twiceOnly one road to paradise... to paradise... to paradiseEverynight you look so meanStaring at your tv screenThinkin about what might have beenI'll love you still irene ireneRead more: Dr. Feelgood - Paradise Lyrics | MetroLyrics

Hey, thanks pppne. I used to have Wilko's autograph that he'd written for me on the inside of a packet of Nunber Six when I saw the band at the Liverpool Stadium in about 1975. I treasured it for years and then lost it. Duh. This tribute was brilliant!
