Doyle's playing is off the charts. Can't wait to hear him play in person again.

I liked the cute smiling girl in the background, shielding her eyes from the light to get a better view when he turned to his right as he sped up. I'd bet that even at NAMM he was underappreciated, perhaps only marginally recognized, and was probably the most technically proficient as well as the most sonically appealing player there.I first heard Doyle about two years ago, and my somewhat uncharacteristic presumptions about what to expect based on the thumbnail for the video I saw were absolutely flattened within seconds. Doyle is magnificent. As others here are saying, he's in an elite group of players who I could listen to at great length with a smile on my face, frozen with an enrapt sense of awe.

Is he bending the neck when he's grabbing the headstock for that twangy sounding bend?

I was about to say he sold his soul to the devil, because no human on their own (other than Chet himself) is that skilled. Then I remembered he's a preacher, a man of God. So he's just that good, people.
