I cannot believe that as much of a grunge fan as I am (to this very day!), and a huge fan of this band's apparent influences... that I never heard this before! As a writer/musician, let me explain something to the ignorant: MUSIC ONLY GOES SO FAR, before it begins to resemble something pre-existing. Imitation (although usually coming from INSPIRATION, not perjury!) is the most sincere flattery. I would think that Eddie, Layne, etc... would welcome the comparison, and vice-versa.

any real fan of Staley could easily tell that's not him. if anything, it would sound more like Scott Stapp from Creed. i still don't get why so many people think this is Alice In Chains & Pearl Jam, i don't hear it at all.
