Sadly most of the comments on this are political. Very upsetting that beautiful songs like this have been stolen by a certain political party.For those like my self who are a patriotic Scot but not a nationalist can't not play or listen to this song without being linked with SNP/yes campaign. It is the name given us by the Romans 2,000 years ago, given to the whole country as it was the name of the largest tribe who led the fight to drive out the Romans on their three failed invasions of Caledonia. We romantically retain the name in songs and poetry. Beautifully sung!
