What a lovely song. I bought a couple of Doug's CD's back in the days when we had CMTV in the UK. I enjoyed quite a few of his records. Good singer with good songs, what more could you want?

After losing my first love right at the end of the century, great music like this really spoke to me, I ignored the mainstream garbage like garth brooks, mark wills, tim McGraw and all the wannabe country artists in lieu of great stuff like this. Steve Wariner, John Berry, the Mavericks, Dwight, Rick Trevino. There were so many great artists during the 80's-90's that were passed over for the more "marketable" crap that a lot of people bought into. Sad thing is that some of the artists that became popular had some very good early music but the stuff they really made money on was garbage. I liked early Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, and so on. It was their popular stuff that pissed me off. Even George Strait's music sucked for the most part.
