This song is a classic. You know, seeing someone with someone else can be one of the most painful experiences in life. I used to laugh at this song because I did not really listen to the lyrics. But when you listen to it, the pine box lyrics are no longer funny. This is classic country.

His fine wine vocals and natural gift for song even to this day are solid proof which truly validates his place and staying power in country music history .. And this song, wow.. Simply timeless.. Pine Box deserves a spot amidst the Top 20 greatest country songs in history! Perfection on a silver platter.. Five stars..
