Hey there Logger16748. This song was written by a songwriter acquaintance of mine who was VERY successful in the 70s. He wrote "Blind Man In The Bleachers" "Forever Lovers Forever Friends" "Dirty Work" and a TON of songs from that era. His name is Sterling Whipple. The song was recorded as an album cut by Johnny Paycheck. Although these lyrics are different. It was originally "Right here at Smokey Joes" a reference to an album Sterling was in involved in with a band called "The Douglas Fir"
