I read a review of Dory Previn, that if you found a yowling cat trapped in a clothes dryer, you wouldn't record it, you'd let it out.

I posed a challenge to gather Christmas Music earlier. The results so far are quite tasty but the rewards go beyond the joy of receiving gifts. For me there is the wonder of new horizons to wonder about. The sense of excitement from exploration.The satisfaction of challenging oneself.Our "Listener in Chief" demands much from us. I sometimes come here and think - "whah, I don't wanna do any work". But then, magic seems to happen. There is a gem, sparkling and glowing and crying out to be plucked and polished and enjoyed. This is just such a little treasure. I found it and squealed with delight and posted it in comments with a sense of abandon. I felt like an explorer of old - with a load of gold for the king....That's likely what he's shooting for. Anyone can play a radio or ride in an elevator. (remember those days ?) But to feel the music - no to *FEEL* it, you have to get a little involved. Pay attention. Get curious. Don't just watch from the beach, grab a board and *"Surf like there's no tomorrow*#holidaymusic (more tags on original comment)
