Is it me or does it sound like "Ja Nuns Hons Pris" sped up? One of the versions is also on Youtube followed by what seems to be a lively drum version of the song without singing.

King Richard
I met Dorothy Carter in Harvard Square back in 1970. She was selling her albums on the sidewalk and I bought one. She played the troubadour song on her hammer dulcimer and I will never forget the enchanting music and the petite woman who made the angelic sounds.

Thanks, Nagudde and Pillcounter. Katherine Blake was in Miranda Sex Garden with Jocelyn West/Montgomery. Katherine wrote in several of her CD booklets that she was told by Dorothy Carter to sing early music, and after MSG, she went on to Medieval Baebes. 'Didn't know it was THIS Dorothy Carter, who died within recent years (hear "Blow Northerne Winde" on Mistletoe & Wine CD). Jocelyn went on to a solo career, hear her "Lux Vivens" w David Lynch, and her work with Sinfonye. THANK YOU DOROTHY!

I don't know about Miranda Sex Garden (sounds unlikely) but Katherine Blake and the Medieval Baebes, yes, that was this Dorothy Carter.

Is this the Dorothy Carter who convinced Katherine Blake to form Miranda Sex Garden and then Medieval Baebes?

Pretty convincing, actually. Late medieval, I guess, almost renaissance.
