My Heart is the 29th studio album by Doris Day, released on September 5, 2011. On September 11, 2011 the album entered the UK chart at number nine, making Doris Day the oldest artist to score a UK Top 10 with an album featuring new material.

Eight of the songs are new releases, with three of them written by Day's son Terry Melcher, and Bruce Johnston. Many of the songs on this collection were recorded in the mid-eighties for her Doris Day's Best Friends television show. The songs were meant to be used as background music for segments featuring Doris and the animals. When the original recordings were recently retrieved, it seemed only right that her fans should hear these songs, newly remixed for superior sound quality.

Doris Day has been my favorite since I was a teenager, I still watch her movies and enjoy them as much now as I did 50 years ago.

@starlightdove1 I second your sentiments! I have loved Doris Day for 54 years, (since I was six years old) but it was Calamity Jane she played in the movie... though she did record an album with Robert Goulet of the songs from the Broadway musical "Annie Get Your Gun".

A beautiful Lady! I also seen Robin Roberts interview on GMA. She is indeed one wonderful actress, singer and humanitarian. She made me cry to. She is a Treasuer we grew up with Pillow Talk, Don't Eat the Daisy's, Annie Oakely, and that beautiful voice. When I get stressed I just think and hum Kay Sera Sera! Thanks Ms. Day you never know how many lives you have touched. We need this in our world. Thanks for song about Ohio that where I am. Bless ya!

Doris" warmth and sincerity shines through in this beautiful offering in her 88th year of life. This just demonstrates her genuine talent, that silky smooth voice, her charm and sex appeal which appears not to have dimmed with the years. Thank you , Doris for generously sharing your gift with us again.
