Yeah I feel the same way about Eminem, I'm not sure that anyone can rhyme better than he can.

I know this is an old comment, but that is one of my favorite verses from this and I agree with you. I also love Eminem, just because he's now mainstream doesn't take away from how talented he is. One of the most talented mainstream artists in my opinion.

Yeah I try not to hate on mainstream for the same reason. I listen to 2pac, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Childish Gambino, and a bunch of others that are pretty close to being considered mainstream, and I think Eminem's internal rhyming ability is unmatched by anyone I've heard. I'll have to check out Odd Future, I hadn't heard of them and I'm reading about them now.

I don't understand all the hate for the mainstream. It makes everyone sound like a bunch of elitists. Sure most of it's shit (looking at CB, Drake, Wiz Khalifa etc), but I recently started listening to Odd Future and also a bit of eminem again, and their rhymes are sick, and the content of their raps is funny as fuck. Also, look at pac and Biggie, how 'mainstream' are they - they may not be played on the radio, but they're so well known by most people of the world.

i've never seen a similarity to eminem but her verse in this song has always stood out to me because it's so unusually stylish. female rappers often imitate guys when they rap and she didn't do that, it was feminine.

@THEREALSIDGUY I'm not saying that I listen to Eminem regularly, I simply respect his amazing ability to string words together and do enjoy listening to his songs. I haven't bought a single Eminem album because while he can rhyme with of the best of them, I prefer the actual lyrical content of other rappers or groups.

@MShepherd88 Eminem lost his touch. i mean come on his earliest shit was hella watery. his whole thing was to be "comedic" and that was like rap for little kids. and now that he is trying to be serious, he turned out to be more like the watery piece of shit he really is. Remember, just cause you make a lot of money doesnt mean you have talent. that only means that there are some dumb mofos in this world.

@slapbass18 Yeah, it seems a lot of underground fans are pretty quick to dismiss all mainstream rap, but I think there's a lot of mainstream talent too (Eminem, Talib Kweli, Common, etc.)...you just have to wade through all the shit to find it, ha.

@slapbass18 Oh yeah, certainly not ashamed...I have a huge respect for Eminem and his ability to string words together the way he does. Most mainstream rappers don't come even close to the talent in the underground rap community, but Eminem is an exception.

Great song. Does anyone else think that Dessa's flow from about 0:55 to 1:04 sounds like Eminem's? A lot of internal rhyming, and her voice even takes on a similar tone for a moment. And please don't hate on me for comparing Dessa to a mainstream rapper...I just found the similarity interesting.
