This amazing front-row seat video featuring a rare appearance by Michael McDonald together with Kenny Loggins. Check out more music at my blog at http://bloggingengine.com/music . Every year, the Doobie Brothers give a special benefit concert at the BR Cohn Winery. This video was shot on a Nikon V1 photo camera a few feet from the main stage at sunset time. Did my best to hold it still, but people still bump in from time to time. We love the Doobies! Support them by buying their new album "World Gone Crazy", or coming next year to the winery benefit concert!

Great musicians and great music through the years. I give Michael M. and Kenny L. two thumbs up for this -- not so many musicians (not even a handful) made it through old age, huh!

ok, so maby they don't "have it" like they used to, but, they paid their dues and laid it down so much thru years, they made music history and legacy's like so many people and musicians wish we could. Don't dis the for what time has taken, give 'em props for what they did and still getting up there and enjoy the ride!

Kind of amazing, given his health issues back in the '70s, that Tom Johnston seems to have aged the best out of the three of these guys.

Sounds like the original key. MM sounded better. I had expected KL to sound good b/c of his incredibly high tenor, but remember that the human voice is the hardest instrument to maintain. They pulled it off, though.

Both of their voices sound shot... Especially Loggins. Who also boasts some pretty sorry plastic surgery. Overall, just kinda sad...

Thanks for sharing these clips dude! I'm more of fan of Michael McDonald with the Doobs and Mike on his solo albums. Sore Mike last year in Sydney Australia, awesome show. He performed with Boz Scaggs another legend. My two favorite bands from coast to coast, No.1 from the West Coast - The Doobie Bros with Mike, and on the East Coast Steely Dan! I would move to San Diego in an instant, I easily live in Del Mar & the Hard Rock Cafe downtown in San Diego was awesome as well as Coronado!
