It's a good record. Kind of a mix of people, Doug Sahm and ZZ Top and others do traditional kind of cover versions. There's a lot of "alternative" college radio type stuff, like REM, Bongwater and the Judybats, but there's also freakier stuff like Butthole Surfers, Jesus and Mary Chain and Julian Cope. I'd recommend it if you are a Roky Erickson fan. As far as tribute or even just compilation albums goes, it's one of the better I've heard.
