What a song. I only heard about Mr. Burke when it was announced that he passed. I researched him and have been listening to him ever since. I lost out while he was alive, but I am a true fan now.

when u hear this song the first thing that comes to mind is that this is an extremely gifted and soulful singer. But anyone who has ever met Solomon can attest to the fact that his voice-as great as it is- was not his greatest gift. Solomon Burke was one of those rare people who was blessed with the gift of love. i had the pleasure to be in his presence on a number of occasions and witnessed his unique ability to engulf people with love. God bless u Mr Burke and thank u for the gift of love.
