Thank for the comments.. yup Merle gave the band the name...he was Buck bass player and Buck holler what do we call the band?... Merle reply The Buckaroo! Don Rich was great...sounded like a brother singing with his brother when he sang with Buck RIP

Don WAS responsible for Bucks success in my opinion as well. If Don would of lived and left Buck, Don could of been a star. In my eyes Don is a star, hes the only reason i listen to buck and watch all those old tv shows. After Don passed, ole Doyle Curtsinger(bass player) tried singing with buck like Don, but it wasnt the same and never would be.
