Paul Anka met Don Goodwin at an audition, took a liking to him, and gave him this song and another one: "Time to Cry".

Hi Maggie. You can purchase a 45 I'm thinking on Ebay or Gemm.com. You can also download Polderbits.com and record this song and save it as a Mp3 or WAV file. I hope this helps out.

Great song. Takes me back to grade 11 and a girl named Wendy who I had a massive crush on. But she wouln't give me the time of day.

Is this the original? Something sounds a wee bit 'off'. I'm not sure what, but back in the day it sounded somehow different. (Perhaps the cheap AM transistor radios had something to do with that.)

I love this song and didn't think I'd ever find it again. After 39 years I am back together with the guy I was dating when I first heard this song in the '70s so it's even more special to me now! Thanks for posting it!
