The song that first really drew my attention to Dolly. She performed it live on a Canadian variety show called "Circus", which was based around circus acts and music performance - an interesting combination, when you think about it. I've been in love with the lady ever since.

Nice mix job, Chris. I concur, the original just ended too soon, as if it were edited for a three minute/45 rpm record. You have also preserved the rich, characteristic lilt in the upper ranges of her voice which we Dolly fans have grown to know and appreciate. Some other videos on the net tend to roll off the HF too quickly, and muddy up her "S's" and "T's". Vocalists recognize, and appreciate how Dolly has always exhibited excellent annunciation, and you make a fine audio engineer.12 years ago
