Dolly's Christmas songs are magical. But explore all the other material she has done. Assuming you know the well known songs, Jolene, Joshua etc,years with Porter, all valuable to listen to, cross over years, eg I Will Always Love You; she has fabulous music in her fifties, Little Sparrow, Hungry Again, Sugar Hill, Grass is Blue, Slow Dancing With the Moon, and in her 60s Backwoods Barbie etc, just a fraction. Listen to them and I think you will really discover her singing/songwriting talent.
