I have the soundtrack and movie. I was finished listening to this song. Dolly is just so damn loveable and pretty too. With down home roots and proud of it, she is just so likeable. I don't know not one person who doesn't like her. She's just a sweetheart.

this wasnt that big of a movie but i loved it as a kid ... i always identified with "Shirley" in StraightTalk wanting so much more and trying to get out of her small town roots...

I wore this song out when the soundtrack first came out. She sang this on Oprah while promoting the movie. I looked it up on youtube but can't find it. Used to have it on tape but like so many of my Dolly taped stuff, it got worn out.
