Anytime I would put in some Dokken back in the day, almost every song I could relate to in one way or another and it would always speak to my heart. all of dokkens tunes were good, when you bought an album or cassette the entire thing was good, all well written and played tunes, with great singing, melodies, harmonies etc. they really were great, don dokken yelling in key, that's pretty rare for a singer to be able to do.

DON'T let my acoustic guitar fool you...I like music on the heavier side of the spectrum.Here's a great tune by the first live band I ever saw (not counting Mel Tillis with my parents... nothing against Mel just sayin).Anyway, Dokken was opening for Kiss, Animalize Tour, in LaCrosse, WI. I wore out two Tooth and Nail cassette tapes and two CD's (one of which was stolen... hard to blame them). The first song on the second side got a lot of rewinds. Sound even better on a good car stereo.
