Like dokken but the sound of this mix sounds way off. Esp the drums.

This recording is a half-step higher compared to the album version. I have no idea whether they played it in standard tuning or its due to the recording.

I love the band, and I am not trolling here, but I thought Don Dokken's voice was a little too weak for the music.

New Years Eve show at the (then) Centrum. Don was lit off his ass. Still a great show.

I mean, White Lion didn't sound like any other band, Ratt didn't sound like any other band, Dokken didn't sound like any other band...there are different singers with different ranges and it makes for the sound of their music. You don't like it, don't listen to it is what I say...

I agree...I think the lead singers voice makes for most of the sound of the band. I'm sure a lot of people say Stephen Pearcy sounds terrible but his voice is unique. If they had a different singer it wouldn't sound or be like Ratt. Why I laugh when I hear people saying the 80's rock scene went away because there were too many bands that sounded the same. May be true to a degree on drums and guitar (bass too) but the vocals vary greatly and that's what to me distinguishes a band from another.

Not a lot of love for Don Dokken on most of these comment boards, but I like everything about him, even that silly dance of his. He sure looks good in those pants too.
