@nata72 Anything without the orginal four I won't listen to. I saw these guys at a small venue show they headlined (about 3500 people) in 1986 or 1987. Small enough that a local bank opened for them. Taking George Lynch out of Dokken is like Floyd without David Gilmour or maybe a little lesser extent Queensryche without Chris DeGarmo.

I bought this album when it came out and was a little surprised it faltered. While not every track on this album will ever come close to the magic these guys had with Breaking the Chains or Tooth and Nail, this was a very good offering in it's own right and I listened to it quite extensively after I bought it in 1995. This song is the best on the CD.

@rock666guitar Hell to pay and lightning strikes are amazing if you have not heard them, the writing and the riffs but if you have then ignore that statement. I just prefer those album IMO...

Loved this song and album. This tune sounds a lot like King's X to me.

Definitely shows their incredible harmony and range. I love this song and it is a testament to what an incredible band Dokken is :) Can't wait till they get back together and write again!

The best all around Dokken album in my opinion. This album shows a mature artistic side while encompassing their abilities as musicians. The only other Dokken album that flows like this is arguably Back For The Attack. The themes of depression, mental confusion, dysfunctional relationships run rampant from song to song. Great band until they started replacing original members and letting anyone sing lead but Don (Shadow Life). I haven't cared for anything since "Dysfunctional." Too bad!

Very underrated album. Love the mix of the 80's and 90's sounds.
