Some of the comments I've read here, show that fans need to remember one thing; sometimes change is better for a band and the change for DOKKEN is the best thing that could've happened. There was change in QUEENSRYCHE, and look what's happening to GEOFF TATE'S version of the band........Nothing..........Geoff's washed up but Don kicks his ass on any given day! I agree with some of you guyz, This is the best Dokken for some time. Let me make it clear to others Lynch & pilson have no desire to make 80's Music .I've Bumped in to Lynch several times thru the Years I had to ask he prefers to play a newer Style.So Best of Luck to Him. Great songs ! Ive listened to him many years now and Dokken's still bringin' it forward ! And.. of course he doesnt sound like he did in the 80's or 90's . Stop living in the past . It's not 1986 , it's 2014 . But he still has what it takes . He's not in his 30's anymore , he's almost 61 ! Peoples' vocal ranges and energy change with age . I think he's damn good for his age compaired to many others in the world his age and even younger that look , act, and sound much older than they are .His music is keeping him young and he's still giving his heart to his music .
