Mr. Bungle wrote 3 albums then stopped. They defined the genre of avant-garde metal, but it was only 3 albums worth of material. Stop sucking off Mike Patton and saying that everything remotely experimental is just a Bungle rip-off. By that logic, Mike Patton was a Frank Zappa rip-off (Which many accused him of being). Dog Fashion Disco has their own unique style and, unlike Mr. Bungle, hasn't just given up.

Like for example Mushroomhead drew heavy infuence on Faith No More. DFD drew influence from the Early Mr.Bungle material, ect. Of cource they both totaly do there own stuff. All great. But Mike Patton has influenced so many musicians its insane. To many times, people neglectic to give him his props for just how much he contributed to music. I mean Its been almost 25 years since the FNM and MrB's famous albums came out and there still influencing music! Thats something, for this day and age.

Just my 2 cents. As Im old enough to have purchased Mr.Bungles early work and Faith No More when they were released in the late 80s/early 90s. The Bay area music movement was filled with some of the most unique musicians ever, to experiment with Metal. One of the most unique shreders ever ie Buckethead also came from that scene. Mike Patton- Mr.Bungle and Faith No More were genre defying bands. Many of the best bands around today, have drawn heavy influence from one of or both of these bands

Yeah, i'm sure that Mr. Bungle was a band that inspired DFD, but they sound nothing alike, other than the use of carnival/circus style musical accents and goofy lyrics. Mr. Bungle is way more technical and tends to go all over the place while DFD is more straight forward so to speak. Either way, both are great bands.

I would appreciate it if someone would explain how this video relates to the lyrics of the song, if it does.

Yeah, Mr. Bungle sounds nothing like Dog Fashion Disco. I could see, like, DFD and Idiot Flesh or Sleepytime Guerilla Museum similarities sorta -- very VERY sorta -- but Mr. Bungle is far more creative and insane than any of those bands. Everyone into music at all should pick up Disco Volante -- one of the best albums ever.
