How can people gloss over martha? She was in 2 masterpiece episodes, blink and gridlock.Martha is also a very unique companion. She was kind, compassionate, strong willed, smart and knew when to quit. She cherished the adventures she had with the doctor. It wasn't the doctor wiping her memory, living her in a paralell world or her dying that made her leave him-she chose to leave herself and that makes her very poweful in my book. She even went to go on to save the world when the master took it over. How badass is that?And then the doctors daughter comes and ruins all of that by making her a third wheel who fucks off with a fish man who ends up dying because she was clumsy. God, I hate that episode.ANYWAY, martha jones was an amazing character with an amazing theme and I hope they make more like her.

Martha by far was the best companion in the current remake. She was smart, loyal, indefatigable, yet she was cast aside by the doctor. She brought him back to reality, and she was able to walk away. Go Martha go!
