yea damien was deff a demon and it seems to be his inner demon too you know like the 2 voices inside you one telling you to do good while the other one telling you too do evil and it also seems like dmx' inner demon has trapped him cause he listened to his inner demon a lot instead of the good voice inside him so basically he made a lot of wrong choices in life that he regrets dearly 9 years ago
