@odantoro Dude, thank you so much! I think you are right, I found another video here where he says "The beat!" in his distinctive way. I was at a comedy show where one girl was reading from Jeff Godwin's "The Devil's Disciples" and he used a bunch of the same phrases and logic, so I thought that was it, but his voice is not nearly as interesting as Van Impe's.

Personally, I am a fan of the song, but it made me interested in Dj Shadow in general. I can't really argue though since I only know the old stuff, and I like pretty much most of that. No idea about the new stuff, sorry, heh.
