Dixie Dregs unique musical style blended jazz, country, folk and southern rock to create a sound like no other band in history. The band also launched the career of guitarist Steve Morse who would go on to have a successful solo career as well as playing with Kansas and, since 1994, as the lead guitarist in Deep Purple. This concert from the Montreux Festival in 1978 captures the band at their height with an exciting set that includes tracks that are otherwise unavailable.
