Does it not occur to some of you that his voice may just be fucking tired? Skill doesn't always figure into it. The voice is a muscle and like all muscles it can become fatigued. If you listen to the early records and EP's he sounds essentially the same so he was capable of singing that way all along. He has built up some more endurance over the years and learned to utilize techniques that preserve his tone throughout a show. And I say that the surgery helped him!

@noptig Ah. That doesn't mean that was when the show took place. I uploaded Music as a Weapon II several months ago in 2009 but the show took place in May 2003. Farmclub (this video) is a very old place.
