when this movie came out the disco movement exploded. it got to the point that even senior citizens were disco dancing. it was total over kill. it was pretty much undergound between 1973 t0 1977 then that crazy saturday night fever came out and killed it. discos were never the same after that. in the mid 80s we started calling it clubbing because we didnt want to be called the disco era party people. clubbing was the new generation. irefuseto say i was part of it but in reality i was. loved someof it but hated after that movie.
