All I have to say is that if you're truly a Dir en Grey fan it shouldn't matter how they look. I do miss how they use to dress. You have to understand that they been around for a long time and they can't always sound the exact same way they use to sound. They been preforming over and over as the years keep going by. They're not getting any younger so of course their stage presence and the way they perform is gonna be different from back then. I still enjoy listening to them. ^__^

I'm not talking about Dir en Grey being dolts, I'm talking about the people who don't appreciate old Dir en Grey being dolts. I LOVE new and old Dir en Grey, they're my fave band. But I hate that fans are like "Man I'm glad they aren't like this anymore." This was art man, art. The art of them isn't in their visual anymore, just the music, Whereas this era had both, I love both eras equally, the only thing I don't love about Dir en Grey is the moronic fans who can't appreciate their artsy era.

idk, even if they don't dress like this anymore, they are still really artistic but only expresses it in a different way, they still stand out of the crowd and I can't relate them with any other band. The music they make and the epic way of preformance in unique. but that's my option but I don't appreciate them being called ''simple minded dots'', you are talking about the exact same people you see in that pv right above you : /

I wouldn't go so far as to insult their newer music (I personally loved Dum Spiro Spero and Uroboros, and find it's much more similar to progressive metal/experimental than grunge. ._.) But I do agree in that I miss their incredible stage presence, and the way they performed their songs, their outfits, and in general, just the art of Dir en Grey which seems to now be lost.

So... you're glad they dropped their artistic image and ditched a shit load of creativity in their stage presence and music? I strongly disagree, I love the art about this era of music, it's really a shame they dropped their creative stage apparel for the sake of simple minded dolts who can't appreciate the art of it.

Oh c'mon guys... -.- I'm not a crazy fan of DEG but I can see that they just try new things and they change because they want to experience something unknown! It would be boring if every single song would be like this one, don't you think so? Every single band wants and needs SUPPORT from their fans, whatever they do in music.
