This rendition of a Stevie Wonder classic is absolutely magnificent!! Each lyric is wrapped in lush Dionne Warwick velvet and delivered with perfection. Thank you for posting.

Dionne Warwick often gets overlooked when compared to many of her contemporaries - Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, etc. Unlike these ladies (who are all remarkable), Dionne was never a soul belter but rather an interpreter who uses finesse and subtlety to convey the meaning of the lyrics Classy and always elegant, her style is easily recognisable and a pleasure to sit back and listen too. She's a storyteller in her approach to singing and the end result is timeless.

effortlessly......she just capitvates you with her voice as she takes her time thinking about the lyrics and the story.

Why the negativity and stupidity right after listening to this great song? Grow up and get over yourself and gain some kind of character which seems to be lacking based on this ugly comment.

It seems as if Stevie wrote this for Queen Dionne like he wrote Until You Come Back To Me for Aretha....Dionne does this impeccably!!!!!

LOL I am afraid the shoe's on the other foot dear. The one demonstrating stupidity is you. I didn't bring Whitney here. Someone else did. You then had to jump on it. And then there are the sadly flawed in the logic department "arguments" you come up with. Like you actually not really knowing if I met her or not or the fact that has no bearing on anything really. Keep them coming "genius" ROFL
