a great fan of Dion i didn't find this song on Youtube or anywhere else.

Its one of my all time favorites,

its called "New York song" but its for every one who had to depart for some reason for a while from a big city they dearly love

Amsterdam in my case.

And yes, it's sentimental, So What !!!

Because i don't know how to make those flashy clips with moving pictures i did a recoding in my living room here on my sound system and crappy JVC camcorder Everio.

The Lp its from 1975 -77. I played to dead then but on replay now, in places it sounds somehow out dated now.

Phil Spector did great work in 1960 to 1964 but his efforts for the Beatles and others weren't the best.

Ask Paul , John's opinion doesen't count, he was just stubborn.

This song from Dion however is saved by the simple production.

A real Dion Dimucci Classic !!!!!

I think there is direct line between "The Wanderer to "I was Born to Cry" en New York City song.
